Chapter 4: The Samoan Household (20 pages)
Summary
As the title describes, this chapter is about the Samoan household. The Samoan household is actually quite complex, with its inner workings spanning several households in the village. The different households have an interesting way of interacting, especially the girls.
Discussion
It was interesting how members of households move among the different households. A girl for example can basically choose which household that is open to her that she would like to be a part of. They typically prefer ones with the best food and most freedoms.
